Having a few Crusaders in the roster can stop you from thinking about "Who to bring to support this team?", since you can build a three man team and just slap a Crusader into it since he can do no wrong. Need stress healing? The Crusader does that too. Need some more DPS? The Crusader can do it with either Smite or Holy Lance. Need an offhealer? The Crusader can do it. He can fit in into any team in any position and excel to offer support the team. Plague Grenade can also help clear up any enemy with few HP left. The Plague Doctor especially is a good choice to pair with him, since she can Stun both enemy backliners, allowing Holy Lance to devastate an enemy before they can act. He is still very slow however, needing a Stun into the backline to be able to kill enemies before they can act. His last move is usually up to preference between Stunning Blow and Smite, with Stunning Blow providing utility and control when the Crusader gets moved and Smite being able to hit Rank 1 or 2 for huge damage. ![]() ![]() He can still use both his healing skills, allowing him to still provide on that front. In terms of stats, it's like an Iron Swan from the Hellion with better targeting, better crit and extra damage against Unholy. Zealous Accusation is on the weaker side of his abilities it does good damage for a cleave, but is still less efficient than simply hitting an enemy with Smite. The Prot buff is nice for bossfights with enemies that can't be stunned though. Bulwark of Faith rarely does a lot, since it's usually better to try and Stun an enemy or work on killing one. Holy Lance has good Crit and allows targeting to back ranks if he gets moved, but having Battle Heal is nice as well, especially if you don't have a good source of healing on the team. He can sit in the frontlines with Smite, Stunning Blow and Inspiring Cry to control frontline enemies and help with recovery. He can offer stress heals, stun, and utility.
